Trolley Line #9 Closure

A portion of the Trolley Line Number Nine Trail will temporarily close beginning the week of August 31 for necessary repair and stabilization work. The work will address several safety concerns, including erosion along Cooper Branch and trail instability.

During construction, the trail will be closed to all users between its two intersections with Oella Avenue—from the western trailhead at Oella Avenue and Parking Lot A to the eastern intersection with Oella Avenue near the Trolley Stop and The Breadery. This section must remain completely clear for construction vehicle access.

The trail will remain open from the western side of Oella Avenue to the intersection with Edmondson Avenue, Stonewall Road and Chalfonte Drive. Trail users traveling through the closed section should plan an alternate route.

Construction is estimated to take approximately five weeks. Weather conditions, site constraints and other factors may affect the schedule.
